Today, the Quantech Digital team had the opportunity to attend the Careers Fair at Eden Boys Leadership Academy in Bradford. The event brought together local employers and education partners to help students explore pathways into creative, digital, and technology careers.
Providing Opportunities
Our Director, Hasan, met with ambitious students eager to learn about the growing opportunities in digital marketing, web development, and design. Conversations focused on how technology is reshaping industries and how young people can develop the skills needed to succeed in this fast-moving field.
We shared insights into the real-world applications of digital strategy from website design and SEO to branding and content creation offering practical advice on how students can begin building their portfolios and experience early.
Students Created Their Own Websites!
Using an iPad loaded with Adobe Illustrator, students designed their own logos and posters experimenting with colour, shape, and typography to bring their ideas to life. The session encouraged creativity and showed how design software is used every day in the digital industry.
Alongside this, two laptops were set up with a dedicated student website, allowing participants to build their own WordPress sites using Elementor’s drag-and-drop editor. This simple, guided setup made it easy for students to explore web design without needing any coding experience. Our team coached them through each step, helping them understand structure, layout, and visual presentation.
