Empowering the Next Generation of Digital Creators at Eden Boys School
We returned to Eden boys and delivered a hands‑on web design and branding workshop at Eden Boys School, inspiring students to build real websites and explore digital creativity.
Empowering Young Creators at Eden Boys School
The session introduced students to real industry workflows, from structuring HTML pages to understanding how branding shapes identity. Using a simplified version of our own Quantech design system, students built a functional homepage featuring the Eden Boys logo, clean UI elements, and a professional footer crediting their work.
The Session - Hasan S
“Last week I spent the afternoon at Eden Boys School in Bradford, and it turned into one of the most memorable sessions I’ve delivered. The goal was simple: introduce the boys to real digital creativity, designing logos, learning code, and building their first websites, all in a way that felt fun, hands on, and inspiring.
We started with branding. I showed them how a logo isn’t just a picture; it’s identity, confidence, and meaning. The boys sketched ideas, experimented with shapes, and created their own mini logos. Some went for bold geometric designs, others tried modern initials, and a few even explored Islamic inspired patterns. Seeing their faces light up when their ideas turned into real digital artwork was something special.
To make the session even more memorable, I brought custom Quantech stickers and sweets for everyone. The stickers were a hit, the boys were trading them, sticking them on their notebooks, and asking how they were made. It turned a simple workshop into a moment they’ll remember.
Then we moved into coding. I walked them through the basics of HTML and showed them how a website comes together piece by piece. Within minutes, they were editing text, changing colours, adding images, and building their own homepage. Watching them realise, “I actually made this,” is exactly why I love these type of educational sessions.
Before we wrapped up, I spoke to them about something deeper, the importance of being a good, upright Muslim in business. I told them that your character is your brand. Your honesty, your manners, your work ethic, the way you treat people, these are the things that make you successful. Islam doesn’t hold you back from business; it guides you to do business the right way.
The boys left with new skills, new confidence, and a sense that digital creativity is something they can genuinely pursue. And for me, it was a reminder of why community work matters. Quantech isn’t just about building websites, it’s about inspiring the next generation to build their future with intention, excellence, and Islamic values at the core.”
